Navigation and filters
There are two main navigation menus and one area dedicated to filtering the data you are viewing. The navigation menus are broken down into the site navigation and the help and administration navigation.
Site navigation
The site navigation is where you will be able to access the data belonging to a site. This includes site analytics, the users, the simulator and all the mechanic configuration options.
The site navigation can be found on the left-hand side of the screen.
Administration and help navigation
The administration and help menus are where you will be able to access all the help pages as well as the pages related to global administration.
The help menu includes items such as the manual you are currently reading as well as the API & SDK documentation and the Support portal.
The administration menu is where you can configure the global account functionality, this includes managing administrators, API keys, access permissions, templates and data exports. Details of the administration menu are found in the System administrator section of this manual.
The help and administration menus can be found in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Global filters
Finally there are the global filters which can be used to filter what you are viewing. There are two filters available: (1) site filter, and (2) tag filter.
The site filter is used to switch the site we are currently viewing. For example, if we're in the Production site and switch to the Test site, all the data we see on the different screens will be that of the Test site.
The tag filter allows us to filter the information displayed in the data tables. For example, if we have a Sales and an IT tag, we can select the relevant tag to show only items that are associated with the selected tag. Note that the tag filter allows you to select multiple tags at once. When you select multiple tags it will show you all the items that have at least one of the tags associated to them.
The filters will be displayed only on the pages where they are relevant. For example, on the simulator page there are no data lists that can be filtered by the tags, so the tags filter will not be shown. Similarly, on the site configuration page we can't filter by site or tag, so neither filter will be shown.
The global filters can be found in the top left-hand corner of the screen, next to the Mambo logo.
