User management
User Management allows you to search, sort, and filter your users based on different criteria.
Searching users
When you search for a user, the system checks the UUID, email, first name, last name and display name of the user to find matches.
Sorting users
You can sort users by clicking on the column headers in the user table. Each sortable column is clickable:
- First click: sorts in ascending order
- Second click: sorts in descending order
Filtering users
The platform offers several filtering options to help you find specific users:
Tag filters
You will find the tag filter in the top left-hand corner of the administration panel, next to the logo and the site filter. You can select multiple tags from the list. The filter will return users which match any of the tags selected.
Behaviour filters
You will find the behaviours filter in the top right-hand corner of the table, next to the search box. You can select multiple behaviours from the list. The filter will return users which match any of the behaviours selected.
Reward filters
You will find the rewards filter in the top right-hand corner of the table, next to the search box. You can select multiple rewards from the list. The filter will return users which match any of the rewards selected.
Points filter
You will find the point filter in the top right-hand corner of the table, next to the search box. Unlike the previous filters, the point filter won't filter the user list. Instead it will determine which points should be shown in the "Points Grand Total", "Points Balance", "Points Expired" and "Points Spent" columns.
Filter combinations
All filters work by determining if any of the criteria selected match the user within a single filter type. When combining multiple filter types, users must match at least one criterion from each selected filter type.
Examples:
- If you select tag_a and behaviour_a, only users who have both tag_a AND behaviour_a will be shown.
- If you select tag_a, tag_b, behaviour_a and behaviour_b, then users will appear if they have at least one of the selected tags AND at least one of the selected behaviours. This could be:
- tag_a AND behaviour_a
- tag_a AND behaviour_b
- tag_b AND behaviour_a
- tag_b AND behaviour_b
Customising the display
The user table provides you with the ability to select which columns you would like to display. The Columns button in the top right-hand corner of the table allows you to select the columns. Your column preferences will be remembered between visits.
Accessing user details
